Hello, and welcome to the Boomers Alive “60-Day Longevity Challenge”. We’re excited for you because these 60 days could be the most important 2 months of your life. It can be a game-changer for you.

What is longevity – and what are its limitations? Since the age of Hippocrates, doctors and scientists have debated this question. Only recently have dramatic strides in technology made it possible for us to reach some definitive conclusions.

You’re going to be challenged to integrate 32 specific habits or actions related to the science of life-extension. Pause for a moment to visualize what you could do with some extra years tacked onto your average lifespan. Perhaps an extra decade, or even two of vibrant living and productive work.

There’s no guarantee of course because ultimately it’s God who fixes our life span. But God often uses “means” and all you’re doing is providing a few extra “means” for God to work with if He so desires. In all of this, trust in the Great Physician (Lk. 5: 12-13): “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean….’I am willing; be cleansed.’ And immediately the leprosy left hm.”

Some of these concepts and applications are no doubt familiar to you, but others will probably be new. Some may have been bouncing around in your cranium for some time, but for whatever reason, you’ve just never taken tangible action to implement them. Here’s your chance.

The past 20 years or so have seen some remarkable breakthroughs in the study of life-extension. This includes research in areas like genetics, nutrition, exercise, vital energy and immunity, among others The real value of the 60-day challenge is that it brings all these up-to-the-minute ideas together in one place and provides that gentle kick-in-the-posterior that all of us need from time to time.

This is certainly not everything there is to know about health and longevity. But we’ve included the major categories that you need to super-charge your life extension protocol .

In some cases, key items are subsumed within one of the 32 main points. For example, fasting is known to stimulate production of the powerful Human Growth Hormone (HGH) by as much as 5x, so we don’t focus on HGH as a unique point of application. Plus, fasting activates stem cell production for rejuvenation. Some folks are now storing stem cells from their own body for possible future applications, but the cost is no doubt prohibitive for many.

This has given us some amazing breakthroughs. Combined, these discoveries can be a powerful game-changer in your life.

The 8 dynamic elements of life extension may be summarized in the matrix above. There are 4 axis, each related to a dimension of longevity: nutrition, energy, digestion, and emotion.

The vertical nutrition axis is balanced by food and food supplements on one end of the scale with water on the other end. The horizontal Energy axis includes exercise balanced by rest. The Digestion axis includes weight control and detoxification. Finally, the Emotional axis measures stress and vital energy.

This matrix gives us a theoretical framework around which life extension research and application may be organized. Each of the 8 Modal Points on the matrix includes 4 specific related applications. Your performance or status on these 32 points of application determines your current Longevity Index, or Score on a 100-point scale.

The first item in each of the 8 sets involves a daily checklist item in your 60-day challenge; for example, hours of sleep or ounces of water consumed. These are your Basic-8. Others may be one-time events, such as purchase of a water filter or EMF filter.

What’s the key to longevity? A century of research has revealed a set of life extension skills to enhance your potential for living a longer, more fulfilling life . You now have the resources to say “no thanks” to the degenerative diseases that plague moderns. When you click into the Assessment you’ll have the option to click into short video reviews or summaries before each set of 4 questions.

Here are some Fun Facts related to the Basic-8 Longevity skills. The number 8 is repeated some 73 times in the Bible, as a symbol of regeneration and resurrection. It represents new beginning, new birth, new creation, or new order such that man is born again and resurrected from the dead into eternal life by, for and with the Redeemer. This is seen in the figure-8, symbol for infinity.

In occult numerology “8” means “luck” in career success and abundance. It also connotes spiritual and material balance. But, it has a humanistic rather than divine view in Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man, which is perfected in proportion and beauty at the center of the universe (circle) and the world (square).

Thus, the Boomers Alive model is built on 8 foundation stones of a new beginning in your physical and spiritual journey. These take very little money and are accessible to almost everyone. On this foundation, 24 additional event or activity stones are laid that support or perfect the foundation. These sometimes require more money to implement (such as a water filter).

In “The Biblical Meaning of Numbers From 1 to 40,” Dr. Stephen Jones says the number 32 in Hebrew was written with the letters lamed (authority) and beth (house or household). In many Bible examples, 32 (24+8) conveys the idea of Covenant. Thus, the 60-Day Longevity Challenge is your covenant to implement these building blocks of physical and spiritual health.
